Who can join a Credit Union?


Each credit union has a defined "field of membership". The membership of Universal 1 Credit Union consists of employees of our select employer groups, and any person who lives, works, worships or attends school in one of the following community groups: Dayton, Centerville, Oakwood, Moraine, West Carrollton, Miamisburg, Riverside, Kettering, Huber Heights, Trotwood, New Lebanon, Germantown, Clayton, Farmersville, Englewood, Vandalia, Union, Miami Township, Washington Township, as well as Warren, Clark, Greene, Guernsey, Highland, Licking, Pickaway, Ross, Butler, Miami and Shelby Counties in Ohio. Immediate family members of current members are also eligible to join Universal 1 Credit Union.

How can I join Universal 1 Credit Union?


Above, we've listed the criteria to join the Credit Union. If you qualify, please click here to download and print the membership application. You will need to mail it to us or simply stop by one of our convenient branch offices and give it to one of our staff members. What is Universal Rewards?


Universal Rewards is our way of rewarding you, our member, for maximizing your account relationship by keeping your savings and loan balances with us, by actively using and increasing the amount of credit union products and services in your household, and for your loyal credit union patronage. Can I access my accounts without going to a branch office?


You bet! Our automated phone service, UniversaLine, is open 365/24/7 allowing you to transfer funds between accounts, make payments to your Universal 1 Credit Union loan, check your account balances, review account history and so much more! You may also sign up for our home banking program, Universal 1 On-Line, to access your accounts free of charge!

Does Universal 1 Credit Union offer loans?


We offer our members a wide range of loan products. From home loans to auto loans, boat loans to motorcycle loans; we have a loan that can fit your needs.

Will Universal 1 Credit Union allow me to refinance my loan from another institution?


Absolutely! We offer great rates, professional and courteous staff, and a quick loan closing process to facilitate converting your high-interest rate loan into a low-rate credit union loan. You can apply over the phone, in person or click here to get started online.

What are your hours of operation?


Our Main Office is open between the hours of 8:30-5:00 Monday through Friday, and 8:30-11:30 on Saturday. Click here to view the hours and locations of our division offices.

Do you provide no-charge ATM service?


Any of the ATMs in the nationwide Alliance One Network can be used free of charge. To find the one nearest you, click here.

Are my savings deposits insured?


Definitely. Have peace of mind knowing that your savings accounts are insured up to $250,000.00 and IRA accounts are insured an additional $250,000.00 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). NCUA is an agency of the federal government.
