COVID-19: Member Updates

RECENT UPDATES (Updated on 04-02-2020):

  • Please be attentive and wary of various coronavirus scams. Fraudsters have already deployed different scams related to the COVID-19 stimulus checks. The government will not ask you to pay anything up front to get money (no fees, charges, etc.). The government will not call to ask you for your Social Security number, bank account or credit card number. Anyone who does is a scammer. Read more from the FTC on checks from the government
  • Effective Tuesday, March 24, our service hours will change as follows:
    • Main Office (River Park) lobby hours will be 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.
    • Chillicothe lobby hours will be 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.
    • Huber Heights and Kettering locations will be closed until further notice.
    • All offices will be closed on Saturdays.

  • Shared Branching transactions will not be permitted at any office. 
  • Beginning Friday, March 20, our Austin Park, Beavercreek, Sidney, Sugarcreek and Vandalia offices will be temporarily moving to drive-thru only. Lobby access by appointment only for face-to-face services (i.e. account opening, loan closings, etc.)Our River Park & Chillicothe offices are currently open for member service in the lobby. What we are doing in response to Coronavirus

At Universal 1 Credit Union, member and employee safety is our #1 priority. U1 is closely monitoring the evolving circumstances related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We have created an assessment team which is dedicated to meeting and reviewing the most current guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and state and local authorities to make proactive adjustments to our preparedness and response plan. 

Our team is actively cleaning and sanitizing the office areas including door handles, cash machines, tabletops, handrails, and other high-touch common areas.

What you can do 

We strongly recommend and encourage you to utilize all of U1’s remote banking tools. Registering for online and mobile banking allows you to check balances, transfer funds, deposit checks, find our surcharge-free ATMs and apply for loans. Please contact our eServices team at 800.762.9555, option -0- for registration assistance and visit u1cu.org/anywhere to find ATMs near you.
