DAYTON, Ohio – Chaminade Julienne High School completed its seventh annual “Unity in the Community” campaign with rival Carroll High School by presenting the $1,000 Unity Award to the University of Dayton “Active Minds” chapter at halftime of the Jan. 12 men’s basketball game in the CJ gym.

MIAMISBURG, Ohio – Friendly rivals Miamisburg and West Carrollton High Schools completed their 10th annual Unity in the Community Campaign by joining together to help save lives, and to help “man’s best friends” at the Greater Dayton Lab Rescue.

KETTERING, Ohio –Fairmont and Archbishop Alter High Schools completed their ninth annual “Unity in the Community” campaign by hosting Unity blood drives under the new Solvita Blood Center name (formerly Community Blood Center) with support from 199 student donors.

U1 has been serving several counties and cities around the Miami Valley and as of October 23, 2023, residents of Clinton, Darke, Fayette, Franklin, Montgomery, Pike, and Preble counties are now eligible for membership at U1.
